I think mobile first when writing promotional emails

Benefits of autopay

Request:
Create an email with language like “you’ll never miss a payment” to emphasize the benefits of signing up for autopay.

Delivery:
I worked diligently to get approval on powerful messages around on-time payments, improving your credit score and more. I called out lesser-known benefits that were already part of standard procedure like the ability to change your due date. I closed with three steps and a call to action.

Happy Mother’s Day

Request:
Send customers an email to acknowledge the holiday. No sales tie, just a nice message.

Delivery:
I wrote an inclusive, feel-good email recognizing all types of mothers. Language choice was light-hearted but also honored moms in an emotional way. I closed with empathy for readers who may not be celebrating the day as others do.

Acts of kindness

Request:
Improve sales and customer engagement with a product giveaway promotion.

Delivery:
I couldn’t use the words: free, giveaway or drawing since they are highly regulated in the credit industry. I also needed to write a new disclosure. Sometimes a small email campaign comes with rounds of discussions, edits and rewrites. This creative was totally worth it. Customers loved the chance to win items and average order value increase during this promotion. Customer Service Reps loved calling customers who won.

Welcome to Perks

Request:
Introduce customers to a new loyalty program.

Delivery:
I wrote this email to elevate the customer experience and recognize our most valued customers. It highlights premium benefits while reinforcing our customer appreciation. The call to action encourages regular engagement.
